The point of the story that Hajime Iyasama created was to let you pick who to side with. I constantly see people ask, "So, who's the bad guy?", and the answer is, no one. Everyone had their own reasons for fighting, and they had their own definitions of what was right or wrong, and this is still something that the fanbase is having a hard time grasping.

If it wasn't obvious already, one of the reasons i loved this show so much was because i respected the character's motivations, whether they were good or bad. The characters i used to root for earlier on now seem like strangers to me, and the show just feels so lifeless now. We had no idea that what we all had in front of us would soon be ripped out of our hands, and destroyed.Įverything about this show that i was in love with has been slaughtered. We all got a little too used to the stunning production, the stellar composition, and the enticing story that Wit as a collective effort executed beautifully.

If there's one thing that this series has taught me, it's that if you get too comfortable, something bad is bound to happen to you, and the way that these recent seasons take this lesson and redirect it back to them is horrifyingly shocking, and not in a good way. The moment i finished the first episode, i was drawn in by the story, the action, and the authentic, raw emotions that these characters could unleash. Perfectly, the worldbuilding was incredibly entertaining, and the characters were just as complex. I advise anyone who has not finished this season to go ahead and waste their time completing it first before reading this, as this review will most definitely contain spoilers. However, i have now rewrote this review, and MAL will not let me change it to 12 no matter what i do, so just ignore it.) (Note: I first wrote this review when i had 10 out of 12 episodes watched, so it marked it as a Preliminary review. AOT is overhyped garbage, and the final season has literally ruined my life. I hope Erwin gets resurrected before the last episode and kills everyone because he was truly the last good character in the show. The final season literally eliminates this by giving us this stupid liberal snoozefest which is just a mentally ill man vs the world.

It had great action, great characters, and an overall amazing experience for the viewer. Eren's desire to exterminate the titans and liberate humanity is what made the story exciting! It resonates with the inner manly desires that push us toward freedom, giving us a clear-defined evil, being the titans, that we want to destroy. It was the humans vs an enemy that they didn't fully understand whatsoever, and it made them terrifying. Attack On Titan was good while there was still an element of mystery. What makes Attack On Titan good? Clearly, the people making this show have very clearly forgotten this and created something that feels entirely different, as well as entirely unenjoyable.
